The OPTIMA Distance College hosted the defense of term papers by students majoring in Entrepreneurship and Trade. This event was an important step in the professional growth of our students, who demonstrated their knowledge, research skills and ability to analyze complex economic processes.
The coursework was carried out within the discipline "Fundamentals of Exchange Activities" and covered topical issues of the modern financial world. Thanks to the competency-based approach that is the basis of education at OPTIMA, each student had the opportunity to deeply research the chosen topic, prepare an individual project, and present their findings during a public defense.
Among the topics presented at the defense, it is worth noting:
- Internet trading in the FOREX market: features, risks and prospects;
- the impact of market manipulation on stock prices and their consequences for the economy;
- hedging in the agricultural market as an effective risk mitigation tool;
- other important aspects of stock exchange and financial activities.
Each paper was unique, focused on topical issues and reflected the students' serious approach to the topic. The public defense was held in a constructive and professional atmosphere. The students not only presented their research but also actively answered questions from teachers and classmates, demonstrating a high level of preparation.
